My the fall colors are starting to come out and the weather since the rain stopped here has been really nice. I hope you are getting some time to get out and get in the shop. Now is a great time, not too hot and not too cold I hope.

I was off work from my day job last week and my wife and I spent a good deal of time in the shop finishing out projects. Since my knee replacement she has been a lot of help to me in getting this finished.

 

This weekend we will be finishing up another Green Egg table but this one has a bit of a different design. It will have a solid top, a middle cabinet and open shelves on each end. It will also be six feet long which is a little longer than the ones we usually build.

 

I got the panel for the top and the side panels for the cabinet glued up during the week.

 

 

I also got the frame for the table together this week.

 

 

Last night while I was out in the shop, I got the top all sanded down and cut to size, 30" deep by 72" long.

 

 

I should get the bottom and sides to the middle cabinet ready to attach and them install it permanently in the table frame.

 

 

Then I will like the door and putting a finish on it. I hope to have you updated pictures by the end of the weekend.
