Irwin Clamp Pads (Free Replacement)

Featured Replies

I have a dozen Irwin hand clamps of all sizes and use them a lot. Over the years I have lost the yellow pads from some and other pads have become hard, I think due to glue. I have tried several places for replacement pads with no luck. Then I went to this web site; http://www.irwin.com/support-services/replacement-parts

I filled out the blanks and in the description I told them how many pads I needed. In 4 days I received 4 pads of each size...........free of charge.

Thought you would like to know.

Ron

I have several that are hard also. I will check my stock tonight and see if I can order some replacements.

Thanks for that link Ron!!

Wow! have the same issue going on! I have wrenched down on them so hard at times that they just disintegrated. And I have lost a couple too after they fell off. Thanks Ron! Excellent post and a great service to us.

Thanks, Ron I have about 10 or 12 Irwin clamps and I will get the information I need and send it in.

The only Irwins I own are of steel and don't think anyone could squeeze hard enough to tear mine up.. I'm still a woodworker with metal on my mind.1747982139_visegripsremodeled002.JPG.b07210ab3f03c36090c1173fce6704ce.JPG

The white is a cut up nylon cutting board from Walmart. Kinda that no stick stuff and good for removing glue that got misplaced!

Great idea, Jesse.

FREE did you sat free, get out of my way.
