I don't want it enough to have blood. I would rather just purchase a new router and then ask for forgiveness.

You know John, the switch repair may be a blessing.  Since it is now working, and you know the potential for router death is a possibility, you can start looking around and maybe catch a sale.

You are right. If it fails once it will sooner or later fail again. It is probably about five years old. Not that that is all that old, but it does have some time on it.

 

I will be looking for deals, like that Work Sharp 3000 deal.
