June 24, 201115 yr I would like to thank all our members who make The Patriot Woodworker a part of your lives, and for supporting our network and The Wounded Warrior Project. We have done some great things this past year, we have raised money for The Wounded Warrior Project, and we have also built some fantastic Military Challenge Coin Displays for our heroes laid up in the hospitals. We are currently involved in our Challenge Coin Display Build No. 2. The displays will be shipped off in just a few days to Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland, I am still waiting for some stragglers that are being shipped to me right now. The reason for this message is a request for donations to our network The Patriot Woodworker. Our hosting provider has raised their fees. And we are in need of support by our members at this point. This is an unprecedented request, never have we asked for any donations to our network, we have always asked our members to help others out. Our network is a non profit community in the truest sense. The owner (me) and the volunteers of our network, make absolutely zero monetary or compensating gains by operating this wonderful site. We have our wonderful volunteers who sit here day after day, and myself, and we do this out of our love for woodworking, being able to speak and share with some spectacular folks, and to support our favorite charity, The Wounded Warrior Project. We love our American Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines on this site. This site was created to give woodworkers a place to hang out, and at the same time they are able to feel as though they are making a difference in the life of a true hero. I wouldn't ask for help if it weren't necessary, but it is. If you believe in what we are doing, and if you would like to show your support for our site thus allowing us to continue the great work we've been doing with The Wounded Warriors Project, please go to our Support The Patriot Woodworker Page and place a donation of any size. All transactions are secure and performed using PayPal, you don't need a paypal account to use this feature. If your uncomfortable with online transactions, please email me at thepatriotwoodworker@verizon.net and we can make other arrangements. We are constantly striving to provide a down home, comfortable place for woodworkers and patriots to call home, I have always said, we may be a small network, but we have heart. I am sorry folks for coming to you all like this. Hopefully if we can get a good shot in the arm, we won't have to worry about this for a few months or a year and we can concentrate on the business at hand, providing a cool place for us woodworkers to hang out, and to provide support for our troops. Also if your a business or even a private individual, and would like to show your support by sponsoring our site for a month or longer, please contact John Morris for details. We are entirely open to having a business support our site and giving a business space on our Home Page to show their wonderful support of our cause and community. With all my heart, thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you for your support. John Morris The Patriot Woodworker
