Featured Replies

Did any of us scrollers get anything finished this weekend? If you did how about showing them off. I worked on a couple but didn't get anything finished.

I got a grand total of 45 minutes in my shop this past week end. But will make up for lost time. Working on a creation cross from Sue may, have the whole series to do.  So what's everyone else working on?

I worked on a couple of things for my desk at work. I finished up a coaster for my water/coffee cup and a holder for post it notes. I also finished up a ning-026-42488-18.jpg?width=721companion piece to my hummingbird; a goldfinch.ning-025-42488-77.jpg?width=721

Melanie, is that coaster one of Steve Goods patterns ? I made one a while back with the playing card suits on the corners. I'll have to find the picture.

I will get a pic up soon but I cut about 20 puzzles this weekend. but my favorite was the "Lilith" dragon puzzle from inch thick purple heart.  used a number 5 FD ultra reverse to so the deed.  Took a few blades as you can imagine  but sooooooo worth the effort. New show piece for my next show.Grin.gif

Looking forward to seeing it Joe.

Glad everybody likes it. My wife loved it this morning when she got it. If she had her way all I would make is doll furniture lol

Yes that is a pattern by Sue. The wood is paddock at 1/2" thick.  8 more in the series to do. These will be gifts for my Church. We are building a new one so I figured what better displays for the wall and this series of crosses. Thanks for your kind words.
