in focus
ning-flg015-42056-80.jpg?width=200US Navy SEAL's   Typically we put a member of The Patriot Woodworker "IN FOCUS" to show off their accomplishments, participation and any business they might be involved in, but because of the recent events with our own US service-members who were killed in action when their CH-47 was downed while trying to take off from a successful mission in Afghanistan, I have decided to put our men and women who protect us from the bad guys "IN FOCUS". As you know, The Patriot Woodworker and it's crew are avid supporters of our military. Thus the reason we are fanatical supporters and contributors to The Wounded Warrior Project. All proceeds gained on The Patriot Woodworker are used to keep us live, and to help support our men and women in uniform. By the request of The Wounded Warrior Project, they have asked us to support the families of the Navy SEALS who died on that day while protecting our freedoms and keeping us safe. How can you support those families directly you ask? Please go to "The Navy SEAL Foundation" and post your donation to their site, you can target your donation to the families of our fallen warriors, The Navy SEAL Foundation made this process easy and painless. Please support our troops today and place your generous donation.

This is just a brutal reminder, that the terrorists and the bad guys who want to spread their radical hate all over the world, are still alive and well, and they are very motivated to cause us harm and to kill as many of our men and women service members as they can. While our men died for what they believed in, they wouldn't be there if it wasn't for the bad guys.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
As you all know, we are in full swing with our 1000th member contest. Don't forget to invite all your friends, we have prizes for the members who invite the most friends over!

Thursday in the Woodshed was a success! We had a whole bunch of new members who showed up for this open chat format. If you all missed this last Thursday, we had an open chat room live on our home page for all to see, even our visitors who were not signed in could drop in and watch. We had a lot of introductions all around, we got to meet some new faces, and we got to get a feel for who each of us are. This was truly a fun event, and I look forward to the next one. While this last chat was a "Meet and Greet" session, I believe the boys have a Shop Safety chat planned for next Thursday August 18th at 8:00 PM Central time. We are going to shoot for every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month for these open chat sessions. And a special thanks to Ron Dudelston and Wayne Mahler for hosting this really cool down home "Speak Easy"!

Have a great week folks.
