But this time I would like to put all our members IN FOCUS. For without you all, this site would cease to exist. Our members provide the content that keeps this site pumping, your interaction, your stories, the information you provide to other woodworkers and you share your personal lives with each other as well. Because of your participation, and your willingness to come on day in and day out, and make us a part of your lives, give this little corner of the internet world, a pulsating heart that I have not seen on other forums. We are small, but we have heart! So, thanks to all our members for being here, contributing in your own unique ways, whether it be through content posting, helping us with our Challenge Coin Display Campaigns, donating to our site and The Wounded Warrior Project. All of it, we are unique in every way, and you should all pat yourselves on the back and say job well done. Next March will be two years we have been live, and we are moving forward. Thank you Patriot Woodworkers for all you do.Do you know of a member that should be IN FOCUS? Contact Us. ANNOUNCEMENTS We have cancelled our 1000th member contest because of slow membership gains. At the rate we were going, we wouldn't be selecting a winner for another year! So we have replaced the contest with our Veterans's Day Drawing this November 11th. Please see the RULES. The Challenge Coin Display Campaign No 3 is here and in full swing. If you would like to see how you can help us build these special displays for our Wounded Warriors please click on the following links. (Addendum) our shipment was delayed due to uncontrollable circumstances, we are going to ship the displays this week to Brooke Army Medical Center for our Wounded Warriors to receive. Thursday in the Woodshed was a success once again! The topic was Challenges for Disabled Woodworkers this past October 6th . And everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. There were great suggestions all around and a better understanding of what a disability means in the workshop was presented by some very informative members. Being a Chat Host is one of the most difficult tasks a person can do, it takes all parts of the hosts brain to fire off all the time while they are fielding multiple Q and A's simultaneously. We have the best chat hosts on the net. We are currently discussing what the next subject will be for The Woodshed coming on October 20th at 8pm Central time. I would like to give a big special thanks to Ron Dudelston and Wayne Mahler for hosting this really cool down home "Speak Easy"! Have a great week folks.John Morris The Patriot Woodworker  John MorrisThe Patriot Woodworker
