From the guys at The Patriot Woodworker to you and yours, we want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. This has been such a wonderful year at The Patriot Woodworker and we are just so humbled and honored that you all choose to call us home. During this special time of the year, we wish you all a blessed Christmas Season and a Happy New Year. Here is to a great 2012 ahead and a great time on The Patriot Woodworker. And I would also like to thank all our members who have contributed to The Patriot Woodworker and The Wounded Warrior Project this past year. As you may have noticed, we have teamed up with Homes For Our Troops just recently and we look forward to working with them this coming year as well. When we are all snuggled in our beds with visions of sugar plums dancing through our heads, please remember those who could not be here with us. The American fighting men and women who protect us day in and day out from terrorism and extremism around the world. They don't have Christmas day off, our enemies don't take the day off and neither do our soldiers. And please pray for the families of our soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines. These familes are back here at home, missing their loved one and worrying about them. These are some pretty sleepless nights for the families of our troops, and they need our support just as much as the troops themselves. So please, when you think of our fighting soldiers and their safety, think about their families as well, they are in this and at times they pay the price as well. Dad or Mom is overseas, fighting the good fight, meanwhile back home it's hard for their families to make ends meet, homes get forclosed upon, food on the table is hard to come by at times, and since alot of these familes are sole income families with the main bread winner at war, it can be really hard for these folks to make it to the 1st of the month. I wish we could help all of them, but we can't. But what we can do is pray that they are watched over. So, thank you again folks, and thank you for being a part of what we think is very special. We are woodworkers with a cause. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. John Morris (The Patriot Woodworker) Without You- A Christmas Tribute to Our Troops All Over the World. A Message from our Assistant Administrator It is with great joy in my heart that I wish each of you here on The Patriot Woodworker a very Merry Christmas and a most prosperous New Year. Your presence here on this site has been a special blessing to each of us. I so look forward each day to seeing what my fellow woodworkers are doing. Much encouragement and training has been given by you, probably without you even knowing it. Sharing how you do projects gives each of us a little lesson every time we read a post. This has been a special year as we have seen the site grow and many of you become very active. I have made new friends which I get the opportunity to share with everyday. Through our Instant Messaging, Chat/Video Chat we have gotten to know each other and hear their voice, not just see words on the screen. As we move into this next year, let me just say Thank You for all each and every one of you mean to me and to this site. I hope we will continue to grow and share with each other and continue to be blessed as we journey together through our woodworking and supporting our troops So from my family to yours, Merry Christmas and may God bless you and yours in this coming year!
