February 12, 201214 yr We would like to thank Allen Worsham and Greg Aksdal for your recent donations to The Patriot Woodworker! Thanks guys! As you all know we are kind of like the PBS of woodworking forums here on the internet. Since we are a non profit site, we don't pay ourselves and we contribute any funds we receive to our charities or to help defray the costs associated with running this site, we rely completely on contributions from our members and guests. We have not had a donation in over two months and we are running seriously in the red folks. So if you like what you see here, and you feel like contributing to a site that is a proud supporter of our troops, and a site that is growing daily and will someday be a site to be reckoned with, and a great place for all woodworkers to hang your hat and just let your hair down, or shine up your bald head as is the case with yours truly, then please donate and help keep us live. We are completely above table with our finances and budgeting, we are truly a community and a grass roots one at that. We don't have a big magazine with a built in client base to join our forum and we rely heavily on word of mouth. We even put out a twice a year budget report and a final report as we did with our 2011 TPW Budget Report to show our members where their hard earned money has gone. Uncle Sam Needs You!!! Donate today! We also are in need of funding to help send our newest batch of Challenge Coin Displays off to our Wounded Warriors, so there is another opportunity to help out for a righteous cause! Shipping our displays runs on average 80 to a 100 bucks per campaign. Thanks for reading and we wish you all happiness and good times on The Patriot Woodworker.
