Keep your eyes peeled if you're going to Branson next week.  Yours truly has been commissioned by John Morris to cover the OWAMMO's Gathering next week.  I'll be taking my full staff of photographers to cover the event.  Mr. Morris has spared no expense on this one folks so stay tuned.

Ron,

Wish I could make it too.Frown.gif

Hopefully you won't photograph any of the parts I'm looking for 102.gif, as that would bum me out more 17.gif.

Have a good trip.

Whatcha looking for Larry?  Morris has a huge budget and I bet I could pad my expense report to cover it.

If you are putting it all on the expense account, I could use a 12" jointer if you can get it in the van. Grin.gif

Knowing John Morris' budget here at TPW I think that you will be lucky to get a store bought disposable camera or a sketch pad and a box of crayons much less be bringing Moody back a jointer.24.gif

But I am sure that you will have fun and I look forward to reading your updates along with seeing whatever images you end up with.

My wife has family back in that neck of the woods (Springfield which about 40 minutes or so from Branson as well as Bolivar which is about 40 miles due north of Springfield) and we really loved the area. We actually looked into moving out there many years ago, but  God had other plans. While you are there be sure to make the drive to Springfield and visit the "Grizzly Tools" store as it is a lot of fun.

They are open Monday thru Saturday but closed on Sunday.

Also if you have the time, you and your wife should take a trip out to Carthage, MO and see the Precious Moments Park and Chapel. Tami and I did that a couple of times and it was really enjoyable. Very inspirational. It is about 80 miles west of Springfield.

The Grizzy store WILL happen on the way there.  We're stopping to see some of my wife's cousin near there so while she's visiting, I'll be a shopping.

Silver Dollar City, between Branson and Springfield. usually has some neat woodworking on display, too.

Would have loved to make this trip. But switching jobs and having no vacation time prevents it. Please give Dan Wyatt my best and have a great time and safe journey.

God bless and protect our troops that serve so we can be free.

Grizz factory? Really? And you are gonna mention that in a thread devoted to OLD machines? Ya better be careful, Mr Wyatt might make you disappear under a pile of Delta grinders. I know he has a few.

Have a good time. You will most likely run into my old lathe while you are there. It is being moved by a friend from the OWWM forums to OWAMMO on its journey to Texas. Wish I could go, sounds like fun

My job is to give my kids things to discuss with their therapist
