Phil Chestnut Posted June 10, 2012 Report Posted June 10, 2012 Well I got started on my Mountain Banjo. This one will have a wooden top, instead of a skin it loosely based on the ones that is Ernest Franklin and M.L. Worley talked about ion Fox Fire 3. Mine will have an hexagon Pot instead or a round one this time. I have all 8 sides cut and have dry fit them.

John Moody Posted June 11, 2012 Author Report Posted June 11, 2012 Well I finally got the first of the porch swings finished. I would have taken a picture outside with it hanging under the deck, but it was raining when I finished today so it is just sitting on a table. A side view. Also had to just stop this afternoon and clean the shop. Finally got to the point I couldn't find anything and the floor was covered in sawdust. Can't stand it when it gets that way. Allen Worsham Posted June 12, 2012 Report Posted June 12, 2012 The swing looks great ! I would love to see more photos of it, especially of the underside and how the supports are done. I was just thinking the other day that I might have to make one for our house.
