I have several handplanes I need to sell off because my disibility check was not here this week and will take days to show up. I am desporate I need to pay some bills and need to rase about 500 dollars I have a few nice 45s and a few bedrock and a very few baileys if you can aford to help me out buy a tool from me today so I can meet my obligations My cable is already off and i am accessing the net by my cell phone which wont be on very long so if i disapear for a while you all know why if you would and have the means to afford a new tool now is the time to buy i will not decline any offer I also have a very fine bedrock 602 that i will let go for 525 I have been holding for a guy but he cant seem to aford it either please call me if you want to buy any plane i will sell off most any thing right now .559-790-6295

OK Folks! We have been here before. Remember when we first became a site? We had a member who was also over on Lumberjocks, who needed help similar to Lance. We know who Lance is, and he is a Forum Host here on TPW. Here on TPW we try to take care of our own when we can.

Here is what I propose. Lets make a joint effort and raise enough money to purchase some planes from Lance. We will raise as much money as we can here, and we will buy some planes, or that nice 602 Bedrock. If we can raise the funds, we will send it to Lance, Lance will in turn send us the plane or planes. The plane or planes will be property of our woodworking community as a whole.

We will in turn auction the plane off here or on Ebay, or with the MWTCA and Fine Tool Journal. 100 percent of the proceeds will be used to donate to Homes For Our Troops.

This is a worthy cause guys, both ways, we get to help our Hand Tool Forum Host, and we get to help a great organization as well, Homes For Our Troops. So please, time is of the essence, Lance is looking at loosing services in the next few hours. And we know how much of a pain it is to get those services fired back up, and it costs more money to reconnect. Times have been tough for a few around here, we know who you are, and we have been planning ways to help you out. Right now we have an immediate crisis with Lance.

A note to Lance, don't feel bad buddy, we all have been there before. I remember some years back my wife and could not afford rent on a 450 dollar a month studio apt, I sold my beloved M1-Garand that was a "Bring Back" from a Korean War Vet. It broke my heart, but it was the only thing of value we had that could get us by that one month.

I call TPW my home and now I know why. You guys are the cream of the woodworking world. Thanks you guys if every one comes through with the purchases I may be able to get my cable and telephone at home turned back on and so you know this is basic cable and telephone bundle from zfinity no premium chanels for this poor boy.The money you send will be going to a even greater cause than just me. Hey Lance, if your able to read this, how'd the plane sales work out? We are very pleased we could help buddy, we all get in the mud now and then, sometimes it's hard to climb out with out friends. I am still online sir and I still need about 300 dollars to crack the nut I was approached buy a couple of people but no cash for planes other than the donations you sent me this morning These are some nice bedrock planes and I would be happy to use any one of them that I am selling also I have a really fine Stanley 45 or 3 of these so I hope someone ether buys a plane or donates to the cause and we can raise money for the troops too

Hello, It's been a while since I've visited here, as I've had a busy year (plus) devoting time to caring for my parents and moving two households into one.  I hope you get out of the hole and back on your feet soon.  It's scary just how fragile our life styles are, as not many of us would survive more than a few months without a steady income.  I don't use bedrock planes, but I can help out a bit, as I have a roof over my head and my belly is full tonight.
