June 22, 201214 yr There are forums, then there are FORUM's within the world of woodworking online communities. I have always said, we are small, but man we got heart! One of our own members expressed distress in his life, and we jumped into action. We have done this before, and you have come through, and we did it again, you came through again. Lance Granum was in trouble and still is actually. But you came to the table and made it happen, I know Lance is very appreciative of our efforts here to help him through this unexpected rough time. Not only have you helped Lance, you also have helped some very deserving troops at Homes For Our Troops. You see, Lance is going to send some hand planes to our woodworking community in exchange for the help he received. He was originally selling some of these planes, but he is graciously donating them to us as a gesture of his appreciation for the help you all gave him. What are going to do with these hand planes? We are going to auction them off and we are going to donate 100 percent of the proceeds to Homes For Our Troops, thank you Lance! And once again thank you Patriot Woodworkers! We would like to thank the following individuals for their kindness and generosity towards a fellow woodworker in trouble. Thank you to: Randall Farris of RJ Renovations Lewis Kauffman Robert Schott and Family of Adventures in Woodcrafting Scott Gelentian of Scotts Wood Productions TJ Brown of TJ's Woodshop Gene Howe Arthur Fuege Fred Wilson of Pop's Shop Woodworking Allen Worsham of AW Creations and Woodcrafts Jackson Boyd Cliff Rhorabacher Meilie Moy-Hodnett of Big Stick Canes for our Wounded Warriors If you donated to our cause and did not see your name above, please notify us here or you can email me at www.thepatriotwoodworker.net. The reason why we are disclosing our donors is to maintain complete accountability and openness to our members and visitors. 100 percent of all proceeds have been sent to Lance Granum as of 9:45pm on June 21st 2012. There is one exception, we have a payment pending in the amount of $20.00 dollars to our Pay Pal account, once it is processed and cleared, we will send it immediately to Lance. At the end of this fund raiser, we will disclose the total funds received on behalf of Lance, If you helped out Lance in any other way that was not recognized here, I would like to personally say, God Bless you. The only way I know if a member helped is if their payment was sent to us at our PayPal account. Thank you once again Patriot Woodworkers, and we still need your help! We have sent a total of $320.00 to Lance thanks to all of you. If we can ask for more help from more members, it would be greatly appreciated. And last but not least, I would like to thank Lance for feeling at home here on The Patriot Woodworker, enough so that he opened up to us and let us know he was struggling. I know that was hard Lance. John Morris The Patriot Woodworker Proud Supporter of Wounded Warrior Project and Homes For Our Troops
