About This File

This is a scanned document of the now defunct Workbench Magazine of this era. Permission was granted by the new Workbench Publication for The Patriot Woodworker community to copy and use the old Workbench Magazine at our pleasure, and for free distribution and re-use.

Quote

This spinning wheel is of the horizontal type that was in the Jan-Feb 1963 issue, but differs considerably in detail. Old spinning wheels of a given type were made for the same purpose and most the working parts do not admit of any marked change, yet it would difficult, it no impossible, to locate two old wheels exactly alike in all details.
