    Shake, Rattle & Spray

One of my first projects post back surgery was driven out of need both from the surgery as well as the NEED TO DO SOMETHING. TV, You-Tube etc. had just about fried my brain, so I looked around at treasures I had hoarded, 'er placed in inventory and came up with this. Similar commercial made units are available for purchase on-line for about $40. So what can a fried mind create from a can cozy, a used bicycle drink carrier, a worn out reciprocating saw blade, a 1"w x 1/8"t x 7-1/2"l piece of aluminum, some #10x24 screws, nuts & washers, a cup holder insert picked up from a parking lot and a couple of velcro cord wraps? well first, cut the bottom out of the cup holder insert then advance to more complicating machining... ... where you drill some holes, and make an in effective engineering change adding #8 screws, washers & nuts. Of course painting the old reciprocating blade to retard rust is must, then add the velcro straps attachments... ...resource outside vendor product, then sub-assemble...figured it out yet? ....assemble two sub-assemblies in preparation for final fit.... ...yep it all fits,,,3, 2, 1...gently squeeze trigger for up to 2 minutes, remove can, can cover, point & spray. Took me most of an afternoon but at least I was outside and doing SOMETHING. It certainly takes stress off my back and shoulder. Thanks for watching...
