    Bottle Stoppers

Anyone looking to make a quantity of bottle stoppers? Here is a link to good prices on stainless steel stoppers. Looks like 25 is minimum order. https://www.stainless-stoppers.com/shop.html#/
  2. I was looking at bandsaw blades on line from Suffolk machinery. It has been over a year since I've purchased new blades but is seems there has been somewhat of a spike in prices since my last purchase. I am also looking for advice concerning which blade to use. The max width to fit my Craftsman 14" is a 1/2" blade. Which blade will produce a good clean cut on materials up to 8" thick. I was considering 6 TPI but thought I'd check here before making my purchase. My 10 TPI blade tends to clog while cutting birch.
  3. and you need more router bits to bring out the potential of said machine, there is not much to do except brace yourself, grit your teeth and order some router bits to help make that machine more productive... Brace yourself for sure... Its really easy to sit here and push the order button but wait, someone has to pay. Just a hair less than 300 so I will tell wife these will be Christmas presents for the year 2032 as I have already used up all the previous years with something for the shop..Its strange for I keep the plastic pouches with the numbers of the bits so I won't order more of the same number cause I can't keep up with the receipts... that take up way less room.... I did notice since I bought the Legacy Mill all the prices have doubled in price but it also has been about 18 or 19 years..
  4. After a night of people trying to intrude into my "office" in the middle of the night.....next morning we cleared the village, collected any contraband, and loaded up, had another village to check out along the old highway......nobody home. Seems the "Tax Collectors" from the North had left for Loas....as usual. wrapped things up. Got sent to the base at Quang Tre City.....seems I had a few holes to get patched up.....and get my third purple heart....Meh. While there, learned that, one Richard Milhaus Nixon was pulling combat troops out. two, a West Pointy Ring Banger wanted MY job......hmmmmmm, have fun, dude. I slowly work my way south, to catch a flight home. Of course, I draw OD Duty that night. Had friend who was also shipping out the next day. Not too much going on, so we "Pub_crawled along the Kudo Streets. Finally, with an armful of empty beer bottles, and staggering down some darn alleyway, we came upon a low wall. Decided to set all the bottles up on the wall, and try to just shoot them off...... I think I might have hit one or two hard to do with a 1911 slabside at 10 feet, and three sheets to the wind......All of a sudden, all heck breaks loose! Seems that on the otherside of the wall, was an ARVN MP checkpoint! Ooops. Well, we kind of slid down the alleyway, getting as sober as we could, as fast as we could. Came around the corner and walked up to the station...doing our job, of course. Asked the NCO what was the trouble? "VC, VC!" Dude, there hasn't been any VC since TET 68! Stand down and relax.. Next morning, and hungover, the two of us turned in our gear, got dressed for the flight home. March 1st, 1972
