So you all know we've just released a new line of negative rake carbide cutters for turning resins and very hard woods. I've tested these cutters a lot... I mean... a lot. I figured it was finally time to turn a finished project. This was one of the hybrid blanks that Heath Knuckles made for me. It's now an ice cream scoop handle for my (about to be) grandson, due in November. Never too early to start spoiling them! Simple yes... but I think the beautiful blue resin and maple burl speak well on their own.
