I do a lot of centering, punching center and marking with an ice pick, and an awe. I know these are very basic tools, but I use them a lot. Now I have added another to my favorite list. The auto-punch. For years I wonder what good they could possible be, certainly couldn't be better that my awe. Well.................I was wrong. I got an auto-punch on sale and love the way it works. The absolute best part is one handed operation. None of that punch in one hand and hammer in the other. Call me old fashioned or a slow learner. The old dog did learn a new trick
