That is one gorgeous pen!!

I do too Lew and  I love the look of it when it's finished.  It is beautiful  My favorite wood for pens and stoppers.

A Caveat I also belong t IAP and a penturer there mentioned that the compass rose got deformed when he pressed the cap into the body.  SO I made a little wood block that is relieved to fit around the compass rose and bear only on the collar outside the compass rose and it worked fine.  No deformity.
