Boomer Members July 20, 201510 yr (edited) Author stats Mighty fine planks, what species is that? Edit: Never mind, it's almond. (note to self, read the description) Edited July 20, 201510 yr by Boomer
Chris Members July 22, 201510 yr Author stats I never tire of seeing how folks cut up wood into boards. That almond looks pretty interesting.
Fred Wilson Members July 22, 201510 yr Author stats Lookin good so far - next thing is drying without cracking, right?
Douglas Helliesen Members July 22, 201510 yr Author stats Tropical Almond doesn't usually crack much during the drying but the center section often splits due to stress often while being cut, I've had it nearly pop off the mill. I love the warm color that stays pretty stable unlike the Cuban Mahogani that keeps getting darker.
