The Green Machine. Ryobi SC165VS Scroll Saw View two of two

This is my brand new Ryobi SC165VS Scroll Saw. Known as the Green Machine. The third and last stationary power tool for my shop (Joining the lathe and grinder). This will be used for sawing Pen Blanks to Lengh and also, as my skills grow, for scroll sawing projects. Right now it is living on top of my Service Dog Ruby's Crate. I have plans to make a table for it to fit between my lathe and my grinder ( have a 15" gap there). Trying to use it where it is for a bit. I'm actually liking the lines of sight at the height it is presently. Good to be able to look down at the work so I can clearly see the lines of the pattern.. In a few months, I hope to be able to have a scroll saw project that I can show this group without being embarassed.

Hey Ernie, some really nice patterns can be found on thewoodenteddybear.com. Give it a shot. I also do some on my laptop with photoshop 7. Right now I'm working on a picture for my battle buddy in California. Its a portrait of his wife. I did one in my gallery of course of our mini pinscher. Next is my shepherd and then golden. Lots of work. You can also get coyote stencil cd to make patterns from pics. This is unique way to create one of a kind pics. You can always ask me as I do a bit of scrollin lol. Nice saw by the way.
