Decrepit basement steps on dirt floor

Dirt floor and detached wall parging had to go. Six months of work, a couple of hours every evening. Two beers = one yard (ton) of dirt / rubble removed into an old pickup truck. The virgin compacted sandy clay floor was leveled, lowered, and footers poured. Gutter pavers reclaimed from a gasworks excavation at 30th Street Station set about the perimeter. The deck is 4" of compacted gravel followed by 4" concrete delivered by chute. Right through the front window, what was the original coal chute into the house.
