Smallpatch Members March 6, 20188 yr Author stats Dave we had just been to Las Vegas that year about 1992 , Cowboys won the super, and this little store had things to sell for vacationers with thousands of cute sayings and rhymes and jokes and a kid just starting to school could make all this stuff just playing around with tools..I could make this kind of stuff without any expensive tools. No computer back then but the library had plenty of books with famous sayings and jokes.. I made a few things but the closer to retiring the more I wanted a good scroll saw.. Little did I know then I would need all the equipment on this planet to resaw the wood needed for most of the wood is around 1/4 to 5/16" thick and lots of times thin wood is higher priced than 3/4" stuff..... By the way, the bass lures hanging on the sign are ones I find along the shore line close to our dock.. Just a stopping place till I can get them to the tackle box.
