Gerald Members February 13, 20188 yr Author stats I do ringmaster bowl but can't even imagine how long it take to do that
Dale Felice Members February 13, 20188 yr (edited) Author stats Believe it or not, once everything is set up it's quick. Drilling the holes at a specified 28° was the hardest part. I just zipped them at high speed on the saw. I made 2 bowls in about an hour. The sanding is the bugger because I didn't have a spindle sander. Edited February 13, 20188 yr by Dale Felice
Grandpadave52 Members February 13, 20188 yr (edited) Author stats Well you've demonstrated another skill/gift you possess I'd not seen before... Nothing short of awesome Dale! What's your plan for finish? Edited February 13, 20188 yr by Grandpadave52
Dale Felice Members February 13, 20188 yr (edited) Author stats Thank You! I'm thinking just a simple spar varnish in real thin thin coats. Perhaps wiped on? Use a touch of thinner too. It should really draw out the grain in this. Since its just a candy bowl, spar should be ok. Edited February 13, 20188 yr by Dale Felice
