Bunch of Ash and pine scraps, and a few pieces of plywood....resaw the solid wood.  Build 6 drawers, then a case to house them...with an "attic" above...add a lid.   Lots of glue-ups, LOTS of dados and rebates.

 

Antique brass plated hardware.  Minwax "Gunstock" stain, and one coat of Clear Gloss Poly.   Add a foam pad for the floor of the "attic", add a chain for the lid, and something to hold a label with...should be easy enough?
