This is based upon a simple clock kit that I received from H H V a veterans service org.
The First kit I completed is made of Pine and a 1/16"Luan plywood it turned out very good and I gave it to my Son at Christmas for his new home office.
This one I "threw out" all the wood parts and used oak and 1/4" oak plywood it is also larger than the kit so I added my own touches.
I added the images and assembled it barley in time for the VA Art Fair here @ Hines VA Hospital. I was putting the Plexi. front on the night before I had to turn it in for the completion.
It did win 3rd place in the wood working category, But you wait till next year I have bigger and better things planned.
And as we all now space is not important I build my projects in My apartment in a second bedroom that serves as workshop and Office it is only 10x12'where my tools are limited to tabletop units, folding table saw etc. I till now have done all the fitting and sanding by hand. I have since finishing this purchased a portable belt sander 4x36' and 8" drill press and got a "experienced" band saw from a friend it will help the next projects.
So get to cutting and let the chips fly.
