February 4, 201313 yr It's a darra James 218I bought it so that my little grand daughters might have a relatively safe machine to learn on. But no use has been made of it. I am not a scroller. It is this machine http://vintagemachinery.org/photoindex/detail.aspx?id=3943Nothing is missing, everything works. I replaced the gasket on the gear box. What would you think the price point should be?
February 4, 201313 yr Cliff, The prices on these type machines are all over the place, and vary with location, condition, etc. To a collector of Darra James equipment it would be worth more than the novice buyer would be willing to pay. A good place to see what it may go for would be ebay. Watch what similar machines are going for. You can always start high with your asking price, and come down from that. February 4, 201313 yr Author To a collector of Darra James equipment I wonder how one finds such a person.  Just put an ad on  CL or flea bay? On the OWW site I see an old craftsman for $300. Maybe I should ask $500 given as how I'm so special and all.
