I have a 13" Delta planer that uses dual sided throw away blades.  I must have 10 sets of blades that I have saved for an "emergency" but all they are doing is collecting dust on the shelf and taking up room.  What do you folks do with your old blades?  In fact, anyone need them?

I have read where folks use the metal to make marking/layout knives. Might even work for making a lathe mini/micro parting tool.
