Workbench Magazine May/June 1966

Featured Replies

Well here we are folks, it's been awhile since we had some brand new old plans on here, so as usual, you know the drill. I will post the front cover, and the table of contents along with a plan. If you see anything in the table of contents that you would like to have, just go ahead and request below and we'll get her scanned and up in our Free Plans and Drawings Page. What we have today is the Shadow Wall Box here in this post, but I have up loaded the following plans at the link above in Free Plans and Drawings.

Antique Cradle

Cathedral Candle Sticks

Chest of Drawers

Childs Gym

Nautical Attic Bedroom

Plywood Marquetry

Tank Car Toy Box

Womens Page Workbench Plans

I don't want to be a kill joy but do we have permission to give out their plans? I do think this is great but would not want to see anyone get into trouble.

Rob, your concerns are valid. I had tried to contact today's Workbench Magazine which is now 'My Home My Style" for a couple months when I started to post them, that was about 2 years ago, after various emails and one good phone call, I was able to talk to one of there representatives finally and they assured me there were no issues or copyright infringement. The Workbench Magazine these plans are coming out of is completely defunct, with absolutely no name or ownership attached to it, it is as if it never existed the way they explained it to me. The original Workbench owned the rights to all the content that was in the magazine, and they are completely wiped off the face of the earth.

Thanks for looking out Rob. But, what I did fail to do and now I think I will follow through with one more step of assurance, is to contact them again, and get some sort of written statement or email to that fact. I think it would be wise, thanks again Rob.

Thanks John!  I was pretty sure you would be doing it the right way.  Some people may not know there is a requirement.
