April 1, 201313 yr Here it is - the start of a new month.  WOW, this year is seeming to go really fast.  More sawdust on the floor - guess I'm going to have to do some spring house cleaning pretty soon.  Below are a couple of projects tat I have gotten finished over this past weekend.  We know that Moody got his pulpit finished - how about the rest of y'all???? Native American Portrait - cut from 3/4" Walnut and measures about 14" tall - picture doesn't do it justice. "The Way Cross"  the 14 stations of the cross are cut from 1/4" Maple and the cross itself is cut from 1/2" Mahogany.  total length of the cross is about 20" A custom job for a 2013 graduate of the University of Georgia I know this picture has nothing to do with woodworking - but - had to share it.  This pesky little squirrel was caught getting bird seed from one our feeders. April 2, 201313 yr I got a couple things started but nothing "finished", we had a pretty good day at the show in Metter Saturday. We got plenty of squirrels around us but don't see many in our yard, I don't if it's the cats or my trusty Daisy !!! GregSite hosthttp://www.thesawdustfactoryga.com/
April 3, 201313 yr The big project I got finished was the Pulpit. I also got some additional cheese boards done and a major job, I got the shop cleaned up from the last project. I now have two clear work benches till tomorrow night. I will get started remaking the chest end that I cut the dovetails in wrong. And as for squirrels, here is my little buddy that comes up on the deck every morning. He is a bob tail squirrel. Not sure he it got bit off or broke off but we have seen him since he was little. I have a copper top for that post that was not nail down. He knocks it off and licks the top of the post. John MoodySite AdministratorJohn Moody Woodworkshttp://www.johnmoodywoodworks.com
