We would like to tip our hat to our President and first lady for donating over 103,871 dollars to The Fisher House Foundation. An organization that supplies families with a home away from home on and around the military hospitals of our nation to accommodate their needs while their soldier is being hospitalized or in a rehab setting. This donation was made during the 2012 year without pomp and ceremony or accolades. 

I am personally grateful for the Presidents support in the form of this donation made to this great organization. Thank you Mr. President and First Lady.

The Patriot Woodworker is in the works for obtaining logo rights and usage from the Fisher House Foundation so we can start fundraising for them. We have had this in the works for over a month now and we are very excited to be helping out a great organization such as Fisher House.

A leader leads by example, and in this case our President led well. Please no politics in this discussion, we are a grateful nation when our leaders perform acts such as this. Thank you all for your kind responses!
