April 15, 201313 yr So, I guess I should at least try a couple, right.   Had to re-set-up the "bench" first.    Was having a bit of a time hand sawing with the miter box in it's old place.   Rotate 90 degrees around the corner of the bench, two drywall screws to hold it down.  Got all the main parts sawn to their almost correct sizes.    Then, I could start a corner joint job.  Had to rig up a way to hold things will sawing away on themHad to place/wedge some scraps in the miterbox, to get rid of any flex.  This is one of the side pieces. Once things were sawn down to the linesUsing an Atkins Panel saw.   Hey, it does cut faster, and straighter than the coping saws, and fits my hand better, too. Anyway, moved the part to the chopping areaChopped from both sides, too.  Like the "Hammer"? Worked my way through both sides, and the front piece.    First corner? MEH..will take a bit more fine tuning.   As for the second corner?Looks a little bit better?    I think after I fine tune these two corners, the back two will get something different.    Still have to cut a groove for the bottom.  But I think I am making a little progress.... Planer? I'm the 'planer', and these are what I use...
