Some Challenge Coin Soldiers With Your Displays, A Very Nice Picture

Featured Replies

During our last Challenge Coin Display Campaign, we received quite a few boxes of coin displays, all boxes but one were shipped out to our troops and we had been waiting for a special occasion to ship out this last box of displays. These displays were fabricated by our own member Leo Pedersen, they are made of Poplar, and Leo inlaid a penny in the bottom of each one with the current years date.

Recently we had a Marine Captain contact us and asked if he could purchase a display from us, I emailed back and told him we would do him one better, we'd give him a display and we'd include a few more for his troops! He was excited. So we went ahead and shipped off Leo's displays to Captain Joe Reney USMC from the 4th Marine Corp District from New Cumberland PA. His men have seen action in Afghanistan and Iraq, and they are kind of on a stand down mission right now and filling their time up in the recruitment department.

We are very proud of our Patriot Woodworker's and the work they do with us and through us by getting these displays in the hands of our wounded troops and in rare cases such as this, in the hands of some troops who simply requested. It is our honor to introduce you to Capt. Joe Reney USMC and his band of recruiters, with Leo Pedersens displays. Way to go Leo!!!

And thank you Capt Joe and your men for your service to our country.

Capt. Joe Reney is far right top row. You know the one with the silver bars on his collar. Look at the ranks if you can zoom in, we have some high ranking NCO's in the line up with Leo's displays! SGT Major center rear. The Capt. wrote me a big thank you and stated, "my men don't look happy in the photo, but they were very happy to have the displays, believe me." Well what the heck Capt Joe! Their Marines, they're not supposed to look happy!!

A great picture indeed. Thanks to Leo for his donation.  From the look of Sgt Phoenix's display, he needs another one. This one is full!

Captain Reney and I have been emailing back n forth, and jabbing each other on our branches of service. You see, there has always been a love hate between the Marines and ARMY where I come from.

His last jab at me was this.

You know what Army stands for right? (Ain't Ready to be a Marine Yet) Just kidding.

Only thing is, I know he aint kiddin!!!!! Ok guys, let em have it!!!! It's on!!!!
