April 19, 201313 yr Well I am not sure what my weekend will allow me to do. As I reported a few weeks ago, I tore my right Rotator Cuff. There is not suppose to be a dark place between the to white sections. This is what lifts my arm so right now I can't life my right arm. So this weekend will be most likely just resting up till I have the surgery on April 30th. But there are still some good things going on. I got a call from the sawyer at the saw mill I use and he had a guy that had cut down a group of Cherry trees and was about to cut it into firewood. He told him they were too good for firewood and called me. So I pick up 1200 bd ft of Cherry yesterday and got it unloaded in my wood stash. This is one stack, it is about five feet high and four feet wide. This was all cut 4/4. Some really good looking Cherry. Then there was this stack. This stack is all 10/4 and ranges from 6" to 10" wide. And this is the last stack from yesterday. By the way, don't be looking around in the back ground at those other stacks of lumber. They really aren't there. This section is about 4' wide. I was so thankful that my two sons and one of our friends came over and unloaded it. I was just in charge of stickers so I didn't do any lifting. I do have to make a trip back up to the mill as he had another 500 bd ft that he was cutting for pallet material. It was all 12/4 x 6". So I purchased that instead of letting it go to make pallets. I have about 500 bd ft of Pecan that is also sawn and ready to pick up. So I will just be hanging out and watching the lumber dry for the next 6 weeks or so. Andrew is helping me with a few projects and we hope to finish the cedar chest Saturday but not sure how much I can even help him do on it. So what is on your agenda this weekend, new projects, finishing up old projects, building inventory, relaxing in the recliner (me), working in the yard or doing some HDL projects? We here at TPW love to see the projects you have going on and love to share that with the other woodworkers here. You never know that your project may be the one that inspires someone else to give it a try and fall in love with woodworking. So what are you waiting on, post some pictures and tell us what you are doing. John Moody Site Administrator John Moody Woodworks http://www.johnmoodywoodworks.com

April 21, 201313 yr Is it the weekend already? No shows this weekend, just working the regular job today. We've been getting plenty of rain lately so my grass is slowly getting knee high, looks like some yard work for me. GregSite hosthttp://www.thesawdustfactoryga.com/
