April 22, 201313 yr  Unloaded a few things from a rod trip to the old shop.  Part of the load was a few jigsI think this is what they call a Dovetail jig?  Might have to learn how to use it, some day... nextAt one time, this was a fence for a Dewalt Job-site Tablesaw.   Worked better that the factory one.  Now?  Think "Speedsquare".     Clamp it to guide about any tool in the shop.  18" or so long reach. and the underside.   That board it is sitting on?has a cleat at each end. The one on the top is a stop.   Used to plane a board on the bench.  Bottom cleat hangs over the edge on a bench.   Almost like a shooting board. It does work, thoughThat board is from a stash of "scrap" wood that was still out there.  This one is a piece of Cherry, from an old joist.   As for the rest of the pile of "Scraps"Cherry, Oak, Sycamore, Ash, and even a few chunks of pine.   Now, maybe have to think of something to make out of this stash....
