Wednesday's Wisdom For Woodturners

Featured Replies

No lathe work for me this week. Been working on some Challenge Coin Displays.

I did find an interesting project that is made completely on the lathe and doesn't require any special jigs except a chuck.

The project originally appeared in the Woodworkers Journal and was written by Mr. Ernie Conover. I have several of  Mr. Conover's turning books. His style is easy to read and follow.

The project can be found here-

there is also a PDF for the materials and measurements and that can be found here-

Safe turning!

I remembered seeing article but forgot which magazine it was in. Looks like a nice stool and a fun project!

Greetings All

Just what I need in my shed, I had previous chair from Ikea and it was wobbly. And one day I had it and now its up in the Mango tree as bird nesting place.

Have nice day, thanks for the next little project.

Keep on turning, if not today, do it tomorrow.
