May 8, 201313 yr No lathe work for me this week. Been working on some Challenge Coin Displays. I did find an interesting project that is made completely on the lathe and doesn't require any special jigs except a chuck. The project originally appeared in the Woodworkers Journal and was written by Mr. Ernie Conover. I have several of  Mr. Conover's turning books. His style is easy to read and follow. The project can be found here- http://www.rockler.com/how-to/turn-shop-stool-turning-assembling-legs-spindles-seat/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=howto47 there is also a PDF for the materials and measurements and that can be found here- http://www.rockler.com/how-to/wp-content/uploads/Shop-Stool-Diagrams-Materials-List.pdf Safe turning!
