May 13, 201313 yr  had some leftovers from the Pine Hutch.    Kind of odd shaped.  Maybe make them a bit more useful?Yep, and there were two of these.    So, how to go from thisto this?   Well I first marked a line, as to where to cut to.     These are too small to use the circ. saw on.  So I clamped it up in the vise.    I have a Corsair #C-5 Jack plane, set up with a good cambered edgeand makes quick work of getting things down to the lines.   Nice thick curls, too.Got to about here, and switched to a different "player".Got to just splitting the line.   Then clamped the two boards together.   With the "factory edges" matched up along the bottom, planed the top edges til they matchedI still have to mill a back for this tray, add a bottom to it, and a front lip.   Maybe next time.   This took maybe 20 minutes total.. Planer? I'm the 'planer', and these are what I use...
