I'm a diesel mechanic in Nashville, Tn. Liked wood shop in high school. My step dad was a carpenter making cabinets and molding. I've always had an interest in woodworking but have only recently started in the hobby.

If you can post some photos of your 1959 Delta 8" jointer.

I'm into "Old Delta" machines myself. Mine date from the 1930's to late 1950's.

It's a little disassembled right now. Trying to find a 110v motor that will work or I guess I'm going to have to sell it.
