May 16, 201313 yr comment_13402 Just got a box today.  mailman dropped it off.    HEAVY box, too.  Inside wasA "replacement plane"   Wood shavings are from a piece of cherry i had in the Dungeon Shop.   This is right out of the box, after a wipe down to get rid of the oil.   Adjust for depth of cut.  until these appeared.  As for the "problem" on the old plane?Plenty of threads left on the "new' plane.    Me likey, me likey a lot! ps:  I did not even hone the edge on the new one, this is right dab out of the box settings, other than depth of cut.   Imagine after a little time on the stones, and any other items that might need attention, like building up arm strength for this HEAVY plane. Thanks..... Planer? I'm the 'planer', and these are what I use... Report
