Not that far Rich!!! LOL. I can see the commercial shop advantage of this machine, but for the average home custom shop....


It's a nice machine though! Great fit and finish and it's quiet.

Interesting the way it is set up much the same as a jointer with the belt only touching the part in a small area of the belt in between two flat metal surfaces.

Holy cow - it can be tilted, too.    This thing does everything except put it together for you.  lol

That's a marvel of a machine.


But, I'm with Steve on this one. A few licks with a plane is faster than just the set up time on that edge sander.



Now, if you were doing thousands of linear feet per day, different story.
