May 20, 201313 yr Playing around with a free program from Microsoft that will stitch pictures together. It did a pretty good job except it cut away part of the cement block post in the center of the shop. May 22, 201313 yr except it cut away part of the cement block post in the center of the shop. Sounds like something one might prefer IRL. Gives me a good idea for a contest GUESS THAT JIG Yep pay $5.00 to enter and guess the function of some odd ball looking fixture of jig. Proceeds go to TPW and a prize to the winner. Which begs the question: What are all those boards hanging from the ceiling over near the DP with all the half round holes in one end?
May 22, 201313 yr Author Thanks for all of the kind words! The shop really looks big in the pictures but there is barely room to walk around the tools. And YES, I wish that concrete post was not there. I think I'm flattered by Cliff's comment of "odd ball jigs" not that I have any.... The boards, Cliff referred to, are used to hold pipe clamps when doing glue ups. I clamp them parallel, to 2 saw horses (or set them on my lazy susan work surface), and lay the pipe clamps across them in the half circle recesses. Lew Kauffman-Wood Turners Forum HostTime traveler.
