I'll be EXTREMELY proud if this post reached as many as possible. We can be very
proud of our young men and women in the service no matter where they serve.

I love these Fred, thank you for posting, some funny and some memorable. Thank you so much.

I have a question, what have I missed in the past, your wife has a museum for the military?

Just thought we might have a little more action on this one.

My thanks to those who have responded.  And more thanks than I can say for our troops that we honor today.

Thanks for the post, Fred.

The holiday weekends are the slowest Fred, everybody is either gone from home on the road or in the backyard swimming pool.

By the way, get ready for the doldrums of summer! We'll be a tad slow for a few months till fall comes back around. Just the way it is, everywhere not just here.

Yes, John, must have missed that one.  She is the president of the Duluth Historical Society and Duluth History Museum.  Another "high paying" job.  She is also curator, janitor, publicity, doer of all good things.  Anyone want to take a look just click HERE.  Oh, yes, I am volunteered for as web master, maker of charts and literature, and any other thing that Her holiness desires.  I still love her and next year we celebrate our 50th - and ur all invited to the party.

Thanks, Larry

I remember when gas JUMPED to $0.32 a gal. Â Thought I was going to choke with the added expense. Â Last week I filled my truck up with diesel at $3.58 and thought I got a great deal. Â Oh, how times have changed.

Lewis, it is indeed.  I still stand when our flag is presented.  It is just a part of ME.  As is heard at every NASCAR race - "Ladies and gentlemen, please stand and remove your hats as ________ presents our nation''s colors".

Thanks. Seeing the man in the wheel chair, sums up a lot about pour countries youth and others. Yes I stand when the flag is presented, and feel proud that I still know what all the colors mean in the flag.

Thanks for posting.

God bless and protect our troops that serve so we can be free.

Fred,

Diesel is $4.03/gal here now.

It cost me $25.00 to fill the can for the lawn maintenance equipment with regular unleaded at $3.89/gal.
