June 1, 201313 yr Indeed it was Lew. One neat thing was the hands on of tools. I sawed with dovetail saws from three different manufactures. Used some wooden planes made by Scott Meeks. Talked to people that have written woodworking books. Met Rob Lee owner of Lee Valley tools. Oh and Denabe from Lie Neilson videos. Lie Nielson had an awesome shave horse that you could test drive draw knifes on. Almost bought a shoulder plane from Lee Valley. I swore two years ago that I would learn to cut to the line and never buy a shoulder plane, and I didn't but it was close; those things are sweet. The Studly Tool chest presentation was cool. Lost Art press was there with a new book from George Walker and Jim Toplin. It goes on and on. Oh and it was held in this big old barn that was huge. You could tell it was a woodworking event by all the people checking out the joinery of the barn. Good, Better, Best never let it restTill your Good is Better and your Better is Best.
