June 9, 201313 yr Seems I have a collection of cut-offs piled up on the bench. This is the small stack.  Two pieces of black Cherry, some Pine. Not sure WHAT that is under the pencil. Small stack? YepA little bit of White oak, a slab of Black Walnut with a couple smaller squares under it, and THAT pile of Sycamore/Hickory Barn wood.   About like a box of puzzle pieces that some forgot to add a picture on the front of the box.   Looking around for SOMETHING to make out of all this stuff.    No, I don't have a wood stove, either. May have to fire up a machine..and sharpen a few pencils up.     Looking for a few ideas.   Coat of many colours cabinet???? June 11, 201313 yr Author There is almost enough for a small spice cabinet, maybe.    It would have to be a raised panel sides and back affair.   Maybe a frame & panel sort of thingy?   Not sure what to do with that cherry and walnut.   Not enough of either to do much with, even a small box.   Will see what all that sycamore can be made into.  Maybe hide the Walnut/Cherry drawer fronts behind a sycamore panel?   We'll see after next week.   I have a Extreme Handplane Make-over going on right now.......Planer?
