June 16, 201313 yr Stopped at one yard sale:  FIVE small handplanes ( #3s #4s) they wanted $12 a piece?   Not even any Stanleys in the group.  Ah, maybe some other day???Drove back a LONG driveway, could not even SEE the house from the road.   B&D 1/4 sheet sander like the one I had just blown up?  $3?   Sold!Found a cheap estate/garage sale.   Small B&D cordless screwdriver, shaped like a drill.   $.75?  WITH charger!    They had a wood bodied 24" level.    Same price.  Junk in the Box:   A few very beat up, handleless chisels, $2 each!   A broken down Shelton Block plane maybe 7" long.  cap iron HAD a lever to clamp it in place, broken off now.   A "steal" at $20?  ( yeah right, dream on, buddy)  Four D-7 handsaws.   Good buy?  Nope!   Plates were PAINTED!    Handles had been re-finished into "something shiny" , did not even look at the price, just walk away.  Never really got to look around at the Village wide sales, staid local area instead.   One place had two push mowers ( still being fixed up, too) for around $50-60 each.    I think I will keep mine awhile longer. Rust hunt gradeC-      The $1 hand saw wasn't too bad, a plane from Ebay was quite nice.   I have another "Rust Bucket on the way, too!   $5 one at that!    The rest, seemed to be a waste of time and gas...ps; Pictures later, I have to leave for work in a bit.    My "Three day work" weekend....
