These es finish up my display for a juried show in late July.  Now I have to turn 8 table legs to build an Amish side table for the love of my life.  Ah, it never ends.  For the record, they are made from maple and sapele.ning-003-12406-73.jpg?width=750ning-002-12406-34.jpg?width=750

That one is my wife's favorite one also.  My favorite one is the one that brings the most cash.

All are very nice!  I especially like the tallest one on the right.

Did you make the cabinet they are sitting on, too?  It's very nice as well.

Thanks Susie.  The island was a piece that I was "snookered" into by my wife.  Last winter I made new raised panel kitchen cabinets and somehow I made four of the doors 1 inch too tall so I had to re-make them.  Well, I had 4 extra doors and my wife found me something to build to use them.  The top is 1 1/2" edge grain maple and the island itself is oak.

Ron,

The island is beautiful!.  I bet she loves it.  I take it you used all four doors so there is access from either side? Great plan and use for those extra doors.

Man those turned out so good. You should do really well at the show. Those are definitely high end.

Yes and she bankrupted me buying organizers for the bottom section.  There are two drawers and the other side.

lovely work. Nice wood selection.

I love the fact it opens on both sides and has both drawers.  Very nice.  Would be excellent for appliance storage.  Regarding the expensive organizers - quality will save you money in the long run.  :)
