Stanley Bostitch

Featured Replies

I just took delivery of  a new pancake compressor and paslode framing gun that I got  for the shed I'm building.  Bought 'em on Amazon.

The compressor leaked. A rubber foot arrived ripped and torn.

So I called Stanley Bostitch. Got some girl in Customer service. Told her what was wrong. She is sending me a new foot. But they have a month or so backorder on the part that caused the leak.  Some one at the factory neglected to install a seal in a fitting.

So she transferred  me to a Stanley repair center somewhere.

He had one in stock and without more than hearing my problem and asking me how long I'd owned it, is sending me a new part.

I gotta say I was surprised. No one asked for  so much as a fax of my receipt.

That there is great customer service Cliff, and trusting!!!!

Great Customer service. Glad you got things worked out so smoothly.

I think Bostitch is trying to rebuild their image. There for a while, some of their products were awful (to paraphrase the description of the Bostitch tool salesman).

It always make you fell better when you can get to someone that seems to care that you have a problem and you called them for a SOLUTION.

Hope it all works out for you.

I think they have a 7 year warranty on some of their stuff. Something about a 7 year warranty was spoken to  during the recording that I heard when I dialed them.Compressors are one year.

A company worthy of repeat business!  When it comes to receipts, I can lose one before I get to the car.  lol
