July 4, 201313 yr The other half found a table top.    I have four leg blanks I am tapering.   We picked up a couple 1x4x8' clear pine boards.    So, now I have to combine all of this into a Dining Room Table.  Top is one of those "fake" Butcher Block tops @ Walmart.  Size is 46" long, by 30" wide.  Aprons out of that pine will get a dark stain.   Both to try and match the legs (Walnut) and make them "disappear" under the top.  Two legs tapered, two more to go.  M&T joints to be chopped and planed.  Corner blocks to reinforce the corners and attach the base to the top.    Might be a mid way stretcher between the front and back aprons. Well, that IS the "plan" so far.....Planer? I'm the 'planer', and these are what I use...
