July 8, 201313 yr Within the last few days, I had a problem with the speed indicator just making a odd noise again like something was brushing up against it. Well sure enough the doggone sensor once again had moved and landed right on the sprocket, pretty much instantly destroying it. This is the second sensor in as many months, and the headstock had already been sent to PSI for repairs of bad bearings.Well not but 20 minutes after the speed indicator was destroyed, I started hearing a familiar grinding noise like someone had put a bunch of small rocks in an icecream bucket and was constantl;y turning it over and over.I put an email in to Joe over at PSI on Saturday explaining what happened, and not an hour ago he calls me back but I missed his call. He leaves a voicemail on my phone saying that there is a new headstock being sent out to me as a warranty replacement. All I have to do is send the old one back using the info that will be provided with the new headstock. I really like the fact that when something does go wrong, they make good on their warranty. I should get hte new headstock within a few days. Thanks PSI and thank you all for reading.Charles NichollsSite Hostnicholls61@att.netProud supporter of The Wounded Warrior Project, Homes For Our Troops and the NRAhttp://www.etsy.com/shop/nichollswoodworks

July 9, 201313 yr Author Hi Guys and thanks. I can lift the headstock on this lathe it's not that heavy, but almost. If it was much heavier I'd be asking for help to lift it, since I been sick so much lately, my muscles have gone to waste pretty much but there is at least enough strength to lift that much. Thanks for the concern though Charles Nicholls Site Host nicholls61@att.net Proud supporter of The Wounded Warrior Project, Homes For Our Troops and the NRAhttp://www.etsy.com/shop/nichollswoodworks
