July 22, 201312 yr with a few handplanes. A look at the lumberrather nasty looking?   Well, with a few of theseand maybe a couple of theseand this one too..The #5 Jack plane went at a 45 across the grain, the DE6c with the grain, and smoothed things out with the two #4s   Results? Same board, after the clean up.  Also worked on the edge grain..As they weren't quite square across.   Turned the jack plane loose on itnice curlies?   One doneAnd a few to go.   Had a glue up going on as wellHave no fear, a plane will smooth all the mess out.  Worked over a few squares of Pine, tooGot all four done.  Might be,maybe, leg stocks?  As for shavings?Yep, I make a floor full, again.... t Planer?
